WHO IS DUTCH KIMCHI?

dutch kimchi is owned and art directed by Annemiek Hye Jung van Wees. Annemiek is born in Korea and raised in the Netherlands. She studied arts and design at The Design Academy in Eindhoven and at the Rietveld Academy for fine arts in Amsterdam.

Annemiek has a broad experience in designing consumer goods for highly artistic purposes as well for commercial retailers and brands. She has also a lot of experience working with local suppliers (far east) and to manage the sample production process and to work in foreign cultures.

Clients are all very carefully handpicked. Cooperations are not just based on profit or a quick buck but on new challenges, exchange of inspiration, a mutual respect and good chemistry and fun.
